Though there are many ways to go on safari, the common threads that run through our trips are quality, privacy and attention to detail. All our trips are tailor made to suit the guest, all are privately guided by Tim, and all use first class camps and lodges. We strive to stretch ourselves, to make each safari better than the last, and above all to have fun doing it. The areas we choose to visit are the best Africa has to offer, and we aim to show you them as part of a relaxed, enjoyable, exciting and personal adventure. Within these areas we offer two different styles of accommodation: In creating your itinerary you can choose the accommodation style you prefer, or better still choose to alternate between the two styles, to give you the total African experience! While our safaris can be for any length of time and for groups of any size, it is important to note that all our trips cater only for private groups; you choose the people with whom you wish to travel. However, to give you an idea of group size and trip duration, most safaris last from 8 days to 3 weeks, and group sizes vary from 2 to 12 people, with the ideal number, probably being 8 people for 14 days. For most places we visit, we prefer to spend a minimum of two nights, and more likely three or four nights, with the odd place warranting five nights or more if you have the time and interest. While the journeys between areas is an important and enjoyable part of any safari, time and money can be wasted, and the safari experience is rarely enhanced by spending most of your holiday travelling from one place to another. Balance is everything! For us to create an itinerary for you, it will be very useful for us to know a little about you preferences, your interests and any prior experiences of safaris in Africa. It is also important that we have an idea of the budget we are to work within – most or our safaris cost between US$ 500 and US$ 1000 per person per night, all inclusive. |
